The Miran Eddy Current Displacement Sensor has Extensive Application Scenarios in Multiple Fields.
2026-10-13
The working principle of the Miran eddy current displacement sensor: The working principle of the eddy current displacement sensor system is the eddy current effect, which belongs to an inductive measurement principle. The eddy current effect originates from the energy of the oscillating circuit. And the eddy current can only be formed in conductive materials. By introducing an alternating current into the coil inside the sensor probe, a magnetic field can be formed around the probe coil.

The application of Miran eddy current in the following scenarios:
Ⅰ.Manufacturing: In the manufacturing industry, the Milan eddy current displacement sensors are commonly used to measure key parameters such as shaft displacement, vibration, and rotational speed of rotating machinery. For instance, in the operation monitoring of large equipment like steam turbines, wind turbines, and compressors, these sensors can provide real-time feedback on the slight displacement of the shaft, helping engineers detect potential mechanical failures in a timely manner and prevent catastrophic accidents.
Ⅱ.Metal Processing: In the field of metal processing, the Miran eddy current displacement sensors are used to measure the thickness, flatness, and deformation during the metal sheet processing. This ensures that the product quality meets the standards. This non-contact measurement method not only enhances production efficiency but also avoids the scratches and damages that might occur with traditional contact measurements.
Ⅲ.Aerospace and automotive manufacturing: In industries with high precision requirements such as aerospace and automotive manufacturing, the Miran eddy current displacement sensors are used to measure the gap of engine blades, the roundness of cylinders, and the meshing condition of gears, ensuring the assembly accuracy and overall performance of components.
Ⅳ.State monitoring of large rotating machinery: The Miran eddy current displacement sensor can measure the distance between the measured metal conductor and the probe end face in a static and dynamic manner, with high non-contact, high linearity and high resolution. The eddy current displacement sensor performs exceptionally well in the state analysis, vibration research, and displacement signal acquisition of high-speed rotating machinery and reciprocating motion machinery, and is suitable for the radial displacement measurement of rotating shafts.
Ⅴ.Intelligent Application: With the development of the Internet of Things and intelligent manufacturing technologies, the Miran eddy current displacement sensors are also moving towards intelligence and networking. By integrating with technologies such as cloud computing and big data, these sensors can achieve functions like remote monitoring, data analysis, and fault prediction, providing strong support for the intelligent transformation of industrial production.
